Picture framing and hanging your collection is an art form — the main thing is to achieve enjoyment from your collection.

There is little point in following the rules of picture framing if you don’t like the outcome. Although this may be true, be creative and have fun with your picture framing and leave the worry. as well as, details to the professionals.

Picture Frames Port Douglas offers an experienced team at the port Douglas Picture Framing. We stock,

above all, a vast array of frames Port Douglas.  At our Craiglie studio, we stock an entire factory wall of moulds to select from, as well as, artisan pre-made frames.

We have noted a few principles of picture framing that you might want to bear in mind. In the event that, you’re planning on updating or creating an art collection.

1. FRAMING FOR THE FUTURE: FRAMES PORT DOUGLAS

If you are taking the time, money and effort to frame a picture you love, with this in mind, you want it to last.

Because of, preserving your image for an extended period means you should select your materials carefully.

Ensure acid-free matting only for the tropics. Framing in our shop comes with alternatives to a foam core on the back and we offer both glass or acrylic on the front. We offer conservation composite and UV glass for preservation.

By using UV protected materials, you can ensure that you minimise sun and light damage. Note: that all light fades not just the sunlight. We have a few conservation suggestions to assist with the elements for your Frames Port Douglas.

2. COLOUR AND STYLE

Colour can play a creative part in the overall final look of the frame. The right timber, texture or colour can act to enhance an image or wash it out. Different styles and textured frames can complement your home décor or not fit in at all. Talking to one of our professional team to discuss what colours will work with your decore will assist you in making the right selection when selecting frames Port Douglas.

3. SHAPE

The shape of your Frame Port Douglas or the form of the formation of structures you have chosen will add a unique and different dimension to your artwork.
