Glass alone is a poor insulator. When artworks are exposed to rapid, significant changes in temperatures, likewise, humidity, moisture may form on the glass.

It’s much lighter than glass for larger sized artworks.

Acrylic is also hard to break or damage, much more manageable for shipping.

Acrylic applied directly to artwork never moulds. The acrylic is sealed directly to the artwork with a sealed backing board.

NOT MUCH IN THE TROPICS IS BUG RESISTANT 

Insects like termites, Woodworm and cockroaches are a threat to paper.

We have solutions for bug resistance framing with our speciality acrylic glazing and composite Backing.

The mounting process is the best process in tropical Conditions.
